With approximately 700 exhibitors—350 from France and the rest from across the EU and Asia—the event provided a comprehensive look at the latest packaging solutions. However, what stood out the most for CONNECTEDFUTURE was amongst the only tech company for packaging and NFC-powered connected products.

Our participation in the event allowed us to gain valuable insights into the state of connected packaging and the challenges the industry faces:
Limited adoption of smart tagging: While some companies are attempting to develop RFID technology in-house, their efforts are mostly focused on logistics rather than product authentification and consumer engagement.
Lack of awareness: Many exhibitors still don’t fully know about the benefits of connected packaging and how they can elevate the full product lifecycle as well as the EU green deal and Digital Product Passport.
